EFT or tapping is a self applied gentle technique that can be used to reduce emotional triggers, or the emotional component of physical pain, in minutes.
The technique includes 3 simple actions:
Tapping on specific acupressure points on our own face and upper body
While thinking or speaking out loud about what is bothering us right now
And including some simple statements about self worth that feel true to us.

Clinical EFT is a uniform version of EFT with a set of specific techniques described in the EFT Manual. This enables research with EFT to be done in a consistent way, following the research guidelines published by the Clinical Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association. In this way, clinical research following the standardized techniques described in the EFT Manual can demonstrate effectiveness of EFT as an evidence-based practice in a wide variety of problems.

If you currently donāt have professional support to manage your own stress or symptoms of overwhelm, or are currently following other wellness modalities like massage therapy or yoga, tapping can be a great complementary technique to accelerate your journey towards well being.
If you are currently followed by a mental health professional, it is critical to share your intent of using EFT with them to ensure they monitor you closely for any changes to your symptoms that may need therapeutic adjustments.
The best way to answer this question is to try. People have used EFT for 5 major life areas: relationships, health, work, money, and spirituality. It has been demonstrated to be safe and effective in more than 100 randomized clinical trials and stems from both acupressure and cognitive behavioral therapy that are both considered safe practices. In certain circumstances, it may not work for you and there could be multiples reasons for that. Most of the time, however, EFT helps people better manage their emotions every day. Working with an EFT Practitioner can help you identify the best techniques to apply.
Learning to tap is easy and you can certainly do it by yourself. There are lots of resources out there to guide you along the way. I strongly recommend to explore The Tapping Solution (I am not an affiliate and will not get any commission for this recommendation).
However, there are some events in our lives that are difficult to dig into by ourselves. And like everything, having a coach, a mentor, or a sherpa, can help us make exponential progress that we wouldnāt be able to achieve alone. If you feel like there is much more to work on, donāt do it alone.
Sign up for a FREE Session and determine whatās best for you.
For a one-off session, after a brief introduction and grounding together, you will share what you want to work on and I may ask a few clarifying questions. In any case, within a few minutes, we will start tapping while repeating some of your own statements and I will guide you through the points and through other EFT techniques as we go. Regularly during the process, I may ask you to rate the intensity level of your feelings, emotions or body sensations, on a scale from 0 to 10, so we can monitor this intensity before and after tapping. Before the end of the session, I will generally offer a last round of tapping with a technique called āsneaking awayā to ensure you leave on a positive note.
The most important thing is to feel safe in the environment you choose for the session. A quiet room in your apartment/house, a closed office if at work, any place where you can tap on yourself privately
Then you need a device (computer, table, phone) connected to the internet so that you can go on a Zoom call (the Zoom app is required on smart phones but not on computers or tablets as you can connect directly through your internet browser)
Have some water next to you as it is important to stay hydrated during this type of work
I also recommend you have some tissues, in case you get emotional during the session (it does happen quite a bitā¦)
Some past events of our lives are more difficult for us than others. In some case, you may not have shared any of it with anyone. Why would you share with a stranger?
One of the fantastic features of Clinical EFT is that there are some techniques that can be applied with the support of an EFT practitioner WITHOUT sharing any specificity about the issue at hand. It is ok to say, at any time during a session, that you are not comfortable sharing anything further. And that can help inform which other technique to use next, while keeping you safe and respecting your privacy.
EFT Sessions can be done via videoconference or by phone. So if you donāt have internet access but still have access to a phone, it is possible to work with a practitioner remotely. Having said that, be aware that phone conversations over landlines or cell phones (depending on the strength of the encryption protocol, unlike secured videoconference calls, are not fully safe from hacking). WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING A SECURE PLATFORM for your sessions.

I recommend the EFT Universe Ultimate Certification program.
